The Sisters

I have added to my repertoire of deities. I will call them the two sisters, Goddess Sister I and Goddess Sister II (GSII). I stumbled upon one of them about a year ago and her sister, a few months ago.

I was not aware of the second sister until recently. I have found she is relatively obscure so I had to do some digging. Fortunately, I was able to find adequate information about her to develop my own personal ritual with her. She has some qualities that I want to nurture in myself and I believe she will augment some magickal experiences I have been eager to play with.

I believe the best way to go about beginning formal communication with her is by calling her sister first. My intuition tells me that trust might be an issue with GSII so I just dont want to call her without proper introduction and proper context. Although there are those in the magickal blogosphere ("just call her") that might disagree with me on this method, I really feel that I am going about it in the proper way, given GSII's background.

With this Working, I intend to push my boundaries even more and test some techniques that I have been warned about undertaking. Like with everything else, personally, privately and magickally, I take heed of people's warnings but I alone choose my own fate. Again, I intend to work without a safety net and will not share the exact specifications with anyone...

As an aside, I have celebrated a personal milestone. I have found a magickal technique to live "totally in the moment", which has been fulfilling, successful and shows promise for other issues. (It has given me that, "wow, totally cool!" feeling) The discovery occurred at the same time I made a major breakthrough with my qabalah studies. Prior to my discovery of the method, I had difficulties with either punishing myself by living in the past or pushing madly and wildly towards the potential rewards of the future, absolutely no middle ground...

I can now see my present is a gift.

Hi,

First time poster, but faithful and regular reader! I just wanted to ask whether you might consider posting on the technique you mention discovering for living in the moment. My self-work at present largely consists of learning to stay centred, and I would love any advice you have to give on this.

Best wishes,

Jrms.

To be honest, I think people in the "just call her" camp are simply a bit on the impatient side. Being a magician is no excuse to be rude ;)

@Pallus Renatus: (indignant tone) rude, indeed!!!
